Texas Governor Rick Perry Became a Millionaire While Serving in Public Office

Is Governor Rick Perry of Texas, Republican presidential candidate, rich? Is he wealthy? Is he a millionaire? Yes, yes, yes. And his politics represents the interests of rich folks like Rick Perry. He will describe his background as a "farmer," which is somewhat true. When he first started in politics 25 years ago he and his wife made a "mere" $46,000 a year. But that has all changed. He is now a millionaire, earning this all while serving in public office. If you thought this guy would be any different from other wealthy politicians like George W. Bush, Barack Obama, John Kerry, Ronald Reagan, John McCain, etc., whose politics is largely looking out for themselves and other rich folks, think again.
